Pitt Computer Labs, Printing, and Software

With your student ID you are provided free computer use, printing (up to 900 black and white pages per semester, colored pages take the equivalent of 7 black and white pages) and free software.

To print from a computer lap you are able to send your document to the printer and then swipe your student ID card in the swipe box and direct it to print.

You are able to check how many pages you have left at any time by checking your print quote on my.pitt.edu by clicking on “profile” in the top right-hand corner.  Click “View Quota Information” near the bottom of the page, scroll down to where it says “Printing” and press “details.”

For more information on printing, see here.

For computer lab locations and hours see here.

Pitt also provides free software such as the most recent versions of Microsoft Office and Windows, Adobe as well as additional programs at a low cost.  To find out what free software is available, see here.

You can also get free online technology training with your my.pitt username and password.

Want to have papers and other documents available wherever you are?  Use Pitt’s Box system.
